Avery and I checked out the school playground tonight and played pirates and super heroes. Avery was Super Changer and I was Super D. Avery wants to describe what we did: "We had to find the secret code to change the moon back into the sun. We had to go in the time warp machine and go back 1070 years. We found the sun and caught in a net and took it back to our change machine and changed it back into the sun. Our next mission was to turn all the rocks back into lillypads. We didn't know what the frogs would do without lillypads. I did not make this up."
As always we had lots of fun. The only other thing that Avery didn't mention was coming home and having hot chocolate because it was cold at the park tonight. We would have stayed later if it hadn't gotten dark.

i can't imagine what the frogs would do without lillypads either. They would have no plave to sleep at night. It's a good thing that the pirate superheroes were there to save the day.
Sounds like another great play date together. I bought hot chocolate at the store today, too, for those really cold mornings when I get back from the gym.
Kids just come smarter now. What a great imagination he has. I had my first hot chocolate of the season last night (half chocolate and half Cool Whip). Love that stuff!
