Well, we finally took the plunge and scheduled Avery's throat surgery. It will be sometime on the 12th of February. He will have to stay overnight for observations and has already requested that Mom stay with him this time. They will be putting him out, sending foreign objects down his throat and removing things that shouldn't be there. Should be fun?!?!? He has already told us that he wants to stay TWO nights and we told him NO. In fact, I told him that if they wanted us to stay more than one night, we would go AWOL. Then I had to explain what that meant.
In other news, his tooth has NOT fallen out yet and the new tooth has already come up behind it. So, he is going to the dentist next week to see if the baby tooth needs pulled. They will have to wait until after the surgery, or I'll ask the surgeon to pull it for us. The baby tooth is not getting any looser and he won't let us tie the string to the door.
We were looking forward to having Elder David A. Bednar at our Stake Conference next weekend, but with the passing our beloved President Hinckley, Elder Bednar has been reassigned. We are a little bummed, but know he is probably needed else where. I'm sure he will participating in the Rexburg Temple Dedication.
We are going outside now, to shovel the 6 inches of snow we got yesturday. Should be fun. It takes longer to bundle the kids in their snow suits than it does to shovel the driveway. Is it worth it????

The dentist will pull it that day. I know from experience. Logan went in the dentist said yep the other tooth has grown in and gave him a shot and pulled...all said and done in about 5 min. total. No joke! That is way cool Avery will get to stay in the hospital overnight. Will he get to have dibs on the game cube again?
I agree with the snow clothes thing. It does take alot of time to put them on. And then, of course, there is the hanging all of them up to dry on chairs, etc. when they come in. Sounds like you are having a snowy winter like we are. Keep warm!
Avery will be a trooper for his surgery, he is getting used to it all, isn't he? He and Zadyn...
I would have the surgeon pull it for him, that would be the best, but you know the medical profession, probably can't do it. wish I was there to help tend the other kids. Bummer about Elder Bednar. Grant can actually enjoy conference now, instead of worrying about security measures. We are hoping for President Monson in the summer for our temple dedication, but you never know.
