Today was a day full of changes at church. Grant was released from his Stake Executive Secretary calling and called as the 1st Counselor in the Bishopric. I am so excited for him. He will be working along side our wonderful Bishop, Bishop Garth Stevens. Grant is going to be a wonderful leader and helper in our ward. I had MANY comments today about how excited people in the ward are to have Grant back in the ward and serving in the Bishopric. He will miss working along side the Stake Presidency, but is always willing to serve where he is called.
Grant is a wonderful example to me. He has such a strong testimony of service and church callings. I know he will do a wonderful job. He is a great father and loves me and our children very much. We love him and support him in whatever call the Lord chooses for him. I am greatful for his companionship and the love we share together. He is truly my best friend.

Can you say 'Stepping Stones'? Good luck, we are proud of him as well.
We are very excited for Grant and your family. He will make a wonderful counselor, he is so faithful in whatever he is called to do. I agree with you, he is a fantastic husband and father. You are very lucky to have him. Just keep having your kids practice their funny faces to give him on the stand and maybe he will all let you go home after sacrament meeting if you all bear your testimony!
this will be a great blessing to your family!!!!!
