Zadyn's PT 8/21/07

Today was another session of Physical Therapy for Zadyn. She started out on the swing then did a few puzzles. We put the electrostimulation unit on and she freaked out. It was not her favorite thing! We even tried to make it "cooler" by adding stickers to the electrodes, didn't work. We then worked on having Zadyn reach away from her body to the side. She can't do this at all, so we are going to work on it at home. One thing we are going to try is to have her make "floor angels" (picture snow angels on the floor) on the laminate flooring in the kitchen. This will work her shoulder muscles. Avery and Kyler will have to demonstrate, I'm sure, so she knows how to do it.
We are going to cut back to every other week, instead of going to PT once a week. We are at a point where progress is slowing down again and while we are still seeing slight progression every week, it will be OK to have time in between each session. We will try and slip a pool visit in next month as well, since Zadyn likes so swim with Holly!
