Painting on a Rainy Day

It's been pretty rainy here the last couple days. The kids have had a little cabin fever. So, we decided to break out the wood project kits we bought at Michael's a while back. They come complete with wood, glue, paint, and paint brush. The kids glued their pieces all together and then had to wait to let it dry before painting. Grant helped them make chocolate waffle cookies and they ate them while the glue dried (I think they all told me at one point that I couldn't eat them because they have sugar in them). Once they were done with their snack, they got to paint. They LOVE to paint! Suprisingly, they didn't get too much paint on themselves, or the table, thanks to the bibs and craft paper. Here are some pictures of their works in progress. Avery made a tank. Kyler made a covered wagon. Zadyn made a stealth bomber.
